Description

Our government client is seeking the services of a Database Archiect with Enhanced Reliability clearance.

Duties

• Provide advice and guidance to the team during the project analysis and planning phases
• Provide expertise in analysis, design, development, maintenance and support of PL/SQL applications and Oracle databases
• Create data models as required to document potential database design
• Support the implementation of a WCMS solution which may require configuration and development of the WCMS database environment
• Implement any required changes to all database environments Work effectively with the Project Office and Corporate Database Management group
• Support business requirements by evaluating current and proposed WCMS database components against the business requirements

Qualifications

• 10 plus years of progressive experience in PL/SQL development, specifically working with PL/SQL Tables, DBMS_XMLDOM packages, and DBMS_LOB packages
• Experience programming Java 1.4.2 or later
• Experience in the installation/configuration of a Web services SOAP consumer within the database, including WSDL, SOAP and Webservices
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle database development
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Installations, including recent experience in Oracle 11g Experience in XML Processing and XPATH
• Extensive experience in the migration of data from legacy systems into new environments
• Experience in the migration of existing Web content from static Web sites into a WCMS
• Recent experience with the Open Text Web Site Management (formerly RedDot) WCMS (version 10.1), specifically in the area of schemas and tables and installation of the WCMS system
• Experience in performing troubleshooting for Oracle 11g performance using database monitoring tools such as Spotlight Release 6.0 or 6.1 for Oracle and the Oracle suite of monitoring tools.
